Jennifer Deerman

President

Quality Counts, Inc. was founded by Jennifer Deerman, President and Owner, in order to provide employment screening solutions to a wide variety of businesses nationwide.

Jennifer has worked in the background screening industry since 1999, with extensive experience in data research,  product specialization, and regulatory compliance.  The industry knowledge she has garnered through her fifteen-plus years of experience in employment screening has become a tremendous asset for advising clients on best practices and a better understanding of regulatory requirements.

Jennifer graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts with a double majors in Criminal Justice and Political Science.

Joe
Hardman

Senior Vice President of Asset Protection & Business Development

Joe Hardman is Quality Counts' Senior Vice President of Business Development.  In this role, he advises clients and partners on best practices in their hiring and regulatory compliance operations. 
 
Joe provides policy development and consultation and helps design new operating processes to fit the unique requirements of our partners.
 
Joe has over 40 years of concentrated experience in operations and loss prevention for retail and restaurant environments. He has decades of experience with large, national brands, including Cracker Barrel and Macy's ( Rich's). He applies his expertise in corporate security matters to advise clients and design solutions to that maximize safety and security while controlling costs.  
 
Joe graduated from Georgia State University and currently resides in Tennessee.

Samuel
McLamb

Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Business Development

Samuel McLamb (Sam) joined Quality Counts in February 2019. He oversees the organization's corporate strategy supporting, business development, sales, and client engagement.

With over two decades of successful experience at the C-Level in growing organizations through targeted business development and operational excellence, Sam develops sustainable and scalable business initiatives designed to develop team members who are focused on Client success and Team excellence. He is a strong believer in the value of people. We can have the best processes, fanciest tools and the most sophisticated technology, but without the people, we have nothing. 

Sam attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania where he received an executive certificate for successful studies in Business Administration as well as Finance and Accounting. 

Derrick Magnotta

Vice President of Operations

Derrick Magnotta joined Quality Counts in December, 2017. He oversees the organization's business processes, including client solutions, implementation, and customer service. 

He previously served as Project Manager for a nationwide leader in the drug screening industry, where he designed background, drug screening, and compliance solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

Derrick previously worked as Legislative Assistant for a Washington, DC-based consulting and lobbying firm.  In this role, he advised on policy issues related to the financial services, defense, and aerospace industries.  He previously served as a legislative intern for U.S. Senator Robert P. Casey. 

He attended Juniata College, where he studied politics and economics.  He currently resides in Birmingham, AL.
